In a world that seems to be more and more accessible and more and more difficult to navigate, a world where we are bombarded from every corner with terrible things, and good things, happening around us and far away, Art has become my safe space, my comfort blanket, my therapy. I pick up a pencil and a whole new world of happy posibilities opens up.
So Let’s jump right in and talk Mermaids. I love Mermaids. I love stories about mermaids and I love drawing Mermaids.
This little mermaid popped up, then I saw up-cycled rulers somewhere and my mermaid had ruler fish swimming all around her. Then came other up-cycled creatures. My drawings are an eclectic mix of ideas and inspiration I get from others, that make me smile and hopefully bring a smile to others.
