I’m so glad you like my Fun & Nonsense characters. Some of my characters pop onto the page all excited to tell me their fun and nonsense story and others need a cup of tea and chocolate biscuit before they’ll whisper their story in my ear.
Would you like to commission me?
Have you written a story that you would like me to illustrate? Or maybe you just need some editorial illustrations. Or a one off painting?
Drop me an email with an outline of what you are looking for and I will get back to you with a price and time scale for completion of your project.
Once I have a clear idea of what you want I will produce a couple of thumbnail illustrations for you to approve. Once, I receive your return email of approval, I will invoice you via Paypal for 50% of the total cost (not including shipping of original illustrations/artwork) which is non-refundable. This will then allow me to start on the illustrations for you.
The length of time for your illustrations will vary depending on details and size. I will work out deadlines with you in advance and I would hope to have the illustrations to you between 4-6 weeks of receiving your deposit. I will send you updates as work progresses.
Once your illustrations are completed, I will email final photographs for approval. Once you have approved the piece, I will invoice the remainder of the cost plus shipping via Paypal.
Do you offer refunds?
As the illustrations will be tailored to your specifications, I will do my very best to work with you and resolve any problems that come up during the process of creating your illustrations. Should you not wish to purchase the illustrations after completion then the second part of the cost and the shipping will not be invoiced to you. The initial deposit remains non-refundable as this will be used to cover time and materials used. Once the final part of the invoice is paid, then no refund or exchange will be given.
Who owns the copyright on an original piece of work?
